 51st ACS DFW Meeting in Miniature
 
Saturday, April 21, 2018
Southern Methodist University
 
Join us for a day of undergraduate and graduate oral symposia.
Volunteer judges will be needed.
 
Deadline for Abstract Submission if Friday, March 30. 
 We invite graduate and undergraduate students to submit abstracts for a 10-12 minute oral presentation, allowing 3-5 minutes for questions. Please email your ACS-style abstract to Prof. Alex Lipper (alippert@smu.edu). Be sure to include "MiM Abstract Submission" in the subject line. View the flyer at the link below for more required details of the Abstract.
 
Program runs 7:30am-3:30pm.

2017 Meeting in Miniature Program Book Now Available! 

 

The Meeting in Miniature (MiM) is an annual symposium sponsored by the ACS DFW Local Section. The MiM is held at a local section university on a Saturday in April. Undergraduate and graduate students throughout the local section are invited to present on their research for a chance to win prizes.

Abstract Submission and Meeting Registration! 

The Dallas-Fort Worth Section of the American Chemical Society will hold the 50th annual Meeting-In-Miniature Saturday April 29, 2017 on the campus of Texas Christian University (TCU). All graduate and undergraduate students are invited to submit abstracts for a 10-12 minute oral presentation, allowing 3-5 minutes for questions. Details are in the attached flyer.

An ACS style abstract can be emailed to b.janesko@tcu.edu.

Required abstract details:

 

  •  Title of presentation
  • Underline presenting author and put * next to advisor
  • List department and university
  • Division (analytical, biochemistry, inorganic, organic, physical, etc.)
  • Email address of presenting author
  • Category (undergraduate or graduate)
  • Paragraph to include motivation, methods, results, conclusions (no more than 200 words)

 

 ACS members are asked to consider volunteering as judges. Volunteers should email b.janesko@tcu.edu with the email subject "Volunteer for April MiM"
